That New Campground Smell

Sunday March 15, 2020

As we pulled into our spot at the brand new RV sites at Goose Creek State Park, Molly noted that we may be the first people to use the fire pit — the campground is that new. Some light rain on Friday night, but that didn't stop us from making Pie Iron Pizzas for dinner (and it didn't stop April from digging her holes!).

Saturday was perfect day for hiking. We walked along the Pamilco sound... lots of pictures were taken and other dogs were met. Dutch oven chili was a huge success for dinner... another 5-star effort from Molly.

Sunday was rainy.... we hate packing up in the rain, but we're getting good at it. We opened up Roxy at home to let her dry out... we're ready for next month (assuming that Coronovirus doesn't keep us at home)!
