The Morning After

Wednesday December 7, 2016

Up at 6:00am.... Why?!?

Bag omelets for breakfast. Earnest plans to hike on some trails... abandoned. Audrey was having a great time, but she could only walk about 5 or 6 sites up "the loop" before she tapped out.

Survived our fist night!
Good Morning!

It was a slow, calm, very sniffy walk with both humans and both dogs. One political zealot encountered. Then we finally returned to Roxy.

She was real, and really there!

Our shower is small. Smaller than it looks. Smaller than the cabin's shower. It is officially for "Dire Showering Emergencies" only.

Sleepy dogs!
They slept all the way home.
Hooked back up, around noon. Rick directed and Molly did the truck backing ( ♫ back it up ♪ ). It went surprisingly well.

I drove the first half of the trek home, without any drama... although we discovered that our sway control equipment was adjusted less-than-perfectly, resulting in a bouncy trip.

Picnic at the rest area... so romantic!

Home by 3:45pm.

Rick wants to winterize Roxy until Spring... I want to live in the camper!
